"You cruise in 141 days" This was by far the best news I have received in my inbox in a very long time!!!
We (kyle actually) reserved our vacation upon Carnival Cruise lines yesterday, but reality hit today when I received an e-mail from them assigning our cabin.
Kyle and I fell in love with cruising when we took our first one 7 years ago on our honeymoon. Since then we have been on 4. We just love the all inclusiveness that comes along with cruising. For one price we get 4 star dining, entertainment and accommodations. All You can eat EVERYTHING, Free room services, and lest not forget the 20-30 foot slide mid ship. This year we were kind of leaning towards a all inclusive resort like ClubMed or Apple, but were not sure... We weren't too sure just how kid friendly some of these places were, how the destination was, and what to really expect. We had been on Carnival before, so we know the child care policy, we know about entertainment and best of all we get to visit more than one place.
I am so elated!
So I have officially began counting down the days until August 22nd. I've began researching the ports of call (Cozumel, Mexico; Belize; Costa Maya, Mexico and Nassau; Bahamas) and planing events for the two days at sea. Did I tell you I was Hype??
Unlike our last cruise, I will take full advantage of on ship childcare. Last time I was all scary, thinking that it wouldn't really be a family vacation if we weren't together.... let me put it like this...WHATEVA! The kids are going to do their thang while Kyle and I have some clean adult fun... And guess what?? I won't even feel guilty.
I'm really looking forward to crossing a few items off of my bucket list, I understand Belize is a nice place for water skiing... we'll see about that one
