Oy Vey!

Those two words sum up my day exactly.... It started relatively early for a Saturday, with Luna jumping on my bed an licking my face. It was 6:08 and I could've strangled that dog! I got up, took her for a really quick "pee-pee" and came back in to shower. I did a load of clothes, windexed the windows and woke Miles up. At around 8:00 I had my "work hat" on and was mentally prepared to go in and open the daycare on a Saturday. I sent out my invoices, printed the paid ones, cleaned the floors, walls, changing tables, potty seats and even the bathrooms all by 12 noon. WOW! I even got Miles to go down for a nap without breaking a sweat. With one of our employees working today I got a few minutes to run some errands before returning to finish sanitizing the stove, fridge and kitchen floor. Man I was on FIRE!

By 4:00 I decided I had enough and took Miles to the Zoo. Since we have memberships, going to the Zoo just to see the monkeys made absolute sense... We were in and out in an hour! Hot Dog, I'm good.

After leaving to Zoo we hopped on 95 and jetted down to Ikea . I really like Ikea, but the layout of the store drives me CRAZY!!! I mean do we really have to walk through the entire store just to buy easel paper?? By the time I got to check out I had over a hundred dollars worth of stuff in my cart. Just as we were pulling out of Ikea's Parking lot some dude tapped on the window and was like "scuse me ma'am, you have a really bad flat tire." My initial response was to tell him that I ain't even old enough to be called no ma'am, but I settled on "Thank You" and pulled out of the way. Even though Kyle is hundreds of Miles away I called him anyway and then I called Allstate Motor Club, but Hung up before they could assist me... I decided to just do it myself. Eight minutes later my hands were blackened from what ever that black stuff on tires are - dirt and brake dust I guess- there was a flat tire in the trunk and we were on our way back home. Hot diggity dog!

I returned home to find Luna standing at the top of the steps with that "uh-oh" look on her face, but after a good half hour of investigating, I was relieved to learn that she didn't relieve herself in the house - or better yet in my BED. We went for another walk, I cleaned the porch, living & dining room, and even the kitchen! Oy Vey!
